Roberto Coin, Paris

A tale of light and jewellery: Roberto Coin Paris

For almost thirty years, Maison Roberto Coin has been a benchmark in high-end Italian jewellery. Its Paris boutique is a perfect example of how elegance, architecture and designer lighting can blend harmoniously. The architecture and interior design, signed by OITOEMPONTO, is supported by the lighting consultancy of MIRAGEMwhich enhances every detail of the space and the Maison's creations, offering visitors a unique, refined and immersive experience.

Located at 25 Avenue Victor Hugo, in the heart of the prestigious 16th arrondissement, the boutique is just a few steps from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. The 1,500 square feet spread over two levels feature an open and airy layout, where natural light floods in, creating a welcoming atmosphere that invites visitors to freely explore every corner and discover the refined jewelry collections.

Like all Roberto Coin boutiques around the world, the façade of the Paris flagship store was designed by the architectural firm STUDIO SCLAVI S.R.L., a long-standing partner of the Maison and of leading Italian and French luxury brands, ensuring elegance and stylistic consistency even outside the store.

Ceiling lighting

The general lighting of the boutique is provided by Ariel projectors, known for their compact dimensions (Ø40 mm) and high luminous performance (900-1100 lm):

  • Ariel B Micro: projectors in a special version with a two-tone black + gold chrome and honeycomb finish, ideal for creating elegant and defined settings.
  • Ariel RF: adjustable flush-mounted fixtures, perfect for enhancing architectural details and specific areas of the space

Display lighting
The counters and showcases are illuminated by Armonia Bridge, Opera, Sinfonia and Sinfonia Lenti, each chosen to best enhance the creations on display:

  • Armonia Bridge: compact and elegant, it ensures uniform light and excellent colour rendering; it is ideal for highlighting entire shop windows and creating a striking scenic effect.
  • Opera: swivelling indoor projector with geometric design; the wide, uniform beam enables the illumination of showcases and display cases with precision and harmony.
  • Sinfonia and Sinfonia Lenti: demountable light portals with 8x8 mm uprights and crossbeam; the magnetic on/off attachment and 360° rotation of the crossbeam make it easy to modulate the lighting scene. The different optics and colour temperatures that can be combined offer great flexibility to quickly renew the set-up.

Staircase lighting and staircase markers
For the stairs, Lei 02 2700K markers were chosen, which provide light continuity and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The marker lights create subtle plays of light from soft to intense thanks to a refined graphic design, enriching the ambience and naturally guiding the visitors' path.

Design synthesis

The Roberto Coin boutique in Paris is an example of excellence in luxury retail, where architecture, interiors and lighting dialogue in perfect harmony. The light, precisely studied and calibrated in terms of temperature and optics, enhances every architectural detail and every piece of jewellery, becoming a true narrative tool of the brand and making the visiting experience unique and memorable.
