Private residence

Light in the details of the décor

In a private residence on Place Victor Hugo, in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, Marc and Ines Ifrah have designed a child’s bedroom where the classical architectural features meet wood, shades of pink and the playful details of the furnishings. Amidst shelves, alcoves and passageways, the lighting defines the different areas of the room without taking centre stage.

The shelves and desk are illuminated by Nano Tini i. With a diameter of 13.5 mm, the recessed fitting fits neatly into the slim profiles of the structures, allowing the wood grain and the displayed objects to take centre stage. The recessed lens enhances visual comfort, whilst the light adds depth to the shelves and falls gently onto the worktop.

On the staircase, the ‘Lei’ step marker follows the sequence of the steps. Its minimalist design blends in with the interiors, whilst the light highlights its outline and guides the way.

Each light fitting serves a specific function within the room – whether for play, study or rest – and contributes to its cosy atmosphere.
