Two technologies, a single light to shape

There comes a point in every lighting project when the question is no longer ‘how much light is needed’ but ‘what sort of light is needed’. Dynamic White answers this second question: a technology that offers two distinct options, designed to shape not only the intensity of the light, but its character.

Dim to Warm operates on the principle of comfort: as the light intensity decreases, the colour temperature automatically becomes warmer, shifting from a functional white to warm, cosy tones (1800K–3000K). This behaviour is reminiscent of incandescent light sources, faithfully reproduced by the LED — designed for spaces that need to create a welcoming atmosphere: hotels, restaurants and residential settings where light sets the mood in the evening.

Tunable White offers independent control of brightness and colour temperature (1800K–4000K): the light can remain warm even at full power, or switch to cooler tones without altering the brightness. This level of precision is particularly well suited to the retail and jewellery sectors, where colour rendering must remain consistent and reliable in all lighting conditions.

Ariel and Saturn: the same freedom of light

Dynamic White is available for the Ariel and Saturno ranges, and allows you to choose — luminaire by luminaire, project by project — which of the two options, Dim to Warm or Tunable White, is best suited to the space to be lit.
