Designed by architect Shahira Fahmy, Lucida exemplifies how dining can become a fully immersive sensory experience, celebrating Egyptian hospitality and culture.
Lucida is not just a restaurant; it is a journey through light, design, and tradition. The lighting design has been crafted by Atelier33, which has skillfully transformed light into a cultural narrative. Here, light is not merely a functional element but an essential component that enhances the architectural elegance of the space, creating dynamic and engaging atmospheres.
Lighting as Narrative
Among the key players in this lighting project are our fixtures: Macro IP67, Aurora PL, and Tono, which seamlessly integrate into the environment, helping to create welcoming and stimulating spaces.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a central theme in the Lucida project. The materials used, such as terracotta walls and palm leaf structures, not only beautify the environment but are also chosen for their low environmental impact. Every detail is the result of careful collaboration with local artisans, creating a strong bond between the restaurant and the surrounding community.
