New lights for the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari

The Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari, custodian of invaluable works of art, has recently completed a renovation project aimed at further enhancing its artistic treasures.
Architect and lighting designer Michele Schintu, from the Studio Essequadro | p ingegneria architettura, has conceived new exhibition walls and display cases, designing the entire museum lighting to highlight and preserve the works on display. The new lighting system, custom-designed for the spaces of the Pinacoteca, uses compact and miniaturized luminaires, often hidden from view. The light, free from reflections on the artworks, boasts an extremely high color rendering, thus offering a unique visual experience. The new display cases are enlighted by Aria luminaires, available in one, two, and three-head configurations, which, thanks to their adjustability and flexibility, provide targeted lighting, bringing life and depth to every tone of the displayed collection.
The choice of super compact and high-performance products ensures maximum stylistic integration of the products within the context while guaranteeing a clear view of every artistic detail.
