A new award for PIEGA

DGA is pleased to announce that Piega, a wall-mounted step light designed by Valerio Sommella and Anonima Luci, has been recognized by the German Design Award 2021 as Excellent Product Design in the Lighting Category.
The German Design Awards identify the trends of the moment and reward innovative products and projects, which represent the avant-garde of the design worldwide.
The international jury expressed the following opinion: “The elegant Piega dazzles with a puristic style language, enabling to fit in harmoniously with many modern architectures. A glare-free solution that is as suitable for lighting as it is for orientation or as an atmospheric wall washer”.
Piega had already won the Design Plus award Powered by Light+Building.
A new certificate of excellence for this luminaire whose rigorous geometry and refined textured finishes enhance the precision of mechanical machining.
