Ponte Vecchio, Florence
Thanks to this project, a new lighting has been realized for the monument symbol of Florence, by using innovative systems made with LED technology. The lighting project has been defined in accordance to the three sections of the monument that date back to differet historical periods: the lowest dates back to the Roman time, the highest dates back to the Late Renaissance, the median dates back to the Middle Age.
The Design Campus of the Architecture Department of the University of Florence has been entrusted with the task of redefining the lighting and defining the design of lighting fixtures for a prestigious historical context.
DGA Quantum P luminaires, with a luminous flux of 2000 lumens, supplied with special fixing brackets and Pegaso 7 projectors with 18000 lumens have been specifically designed and manufactured for this project.
