Light Addicted Tables

Light Addicted Tables is a joint project developed by DGA with the digital magazine Making of Light in cooperation with the PR agency Advised Agency.
A series of monthly meetings with lighting designers, architects, product designers and photographers will animate the DGA Showroom at Corso Monforte 23 in Milan.

The space was designed by the company as a meeting and information place, where the activity of displaying and supplying products would be accompanied by a parallel activity of in-depth study, knowledge and dissemination of light culture.

DGA has defined a schedule of events to deepen its understanding of topics related to the lighting universe and will involve various professionals in the sector.
Three meetings are currently planned, to be followed by a second series of meetings with professionals and topics that are already selected.

The inaugural event will take place on 28 September and will be held by lighting designer Lisa Marchesi on the theme “Retail”. For this meeting, the professional presented her latest creations for several high fashion houses as a case study.
Custom-made products made with DGA will be presented to best represent the philosophy expressed by the Maison.

The second event, scheduled for 19 October, will be themed “Art” and will see Massimiliano Baldieri talk about his extensive experience with galleries and artists.
The architect will explain how the scenes are developed and the relationship with the creative artist or gallery owner for the correct and spectacular lighting of the works.

The third and final meeting of 2023, scheduled for 16 November, will be held by architects CalviBrambilla, Creative Curators at Flos, who will illustrate how light is the fifth element of their exhibition/fixture design.

All meetings will be sponsored by ASSIL and AIDI.
Architects registered with the Milan Order who will attend the meeting can receive 1cfp for participation in exhibitions and fairs, etc., to be requested by self-certification on the CNAPPC National Training Platform.

The events are open to the public, subject to confirmation by email. Places are limited.
